The UM6SS is the first multidisciplinary university in Morocco in the field of health. It is a non-profit institution of public utility. Its diplomas are national and recognized by the Government. It provides training in medicine, dentistry, public health, health sciences and techniques, as well as biomedical engineering and pharmacy. In addition to initial training, the University also offers numerous continuing education courses for health professionals.
